The Art of Public Speaking Without Fear:
Confident, Compelling and Persuasive
Instructor: Terry Hershey
We all need to speak in public to share our art or to accomplish certain tasks. Whether your medium is storytelling, teaching, performance art, project appeals, briefings, keynotes, interviews or funding pitches, anxiety is the typical response.
Jerry Seinfeld was right, “the average person at a funeral would rather be in the casket than doing the eulogy.” This practical workshop on public presentation helps at any level (beginner or pro).
Focus on the following elements: know your audience, know your body (understand fear and energy) know your setting, communicate your passion. Learn to make each presentation clear, convincing and sensual. Learn public speaking as a one-on-one conversation.
